The stunning and mesmerizing new documentary by Fact Not Fiction films about the making of the Dolls House called "Little Victorian Secrets" goes on sale for £15.00 from the distributors DFT Enterprises. With outstanding footage of this amazing exhibition the DVD reveals some of the stories behind the making of the exhibition. Along side the documentary a story unravels about the goings on in the Hay Loft.
Sculptures in and out!

Maundy Todd has been at Leonardslee organising with Colin, some of the scultures that have come in over the last week. We're looking forward to a new collection of stunning pieces, as well as saying good bye to a few old friends, like Stick Man by Jon Mills, recently gone back to Brighton for a forthcoming exhibition.
Connick tree care have just been in to do some aerobatics in our trees. Mike, Jake & Frank, part of the Connick team have teamed up with Colin and the other staff at Leonardslee to tackle some of out tallest trees. With the weight of the snow earlier in the year a number of the Scots pines suffered from broken branches.

Work experience from Princes' trust

The gardening team at Leonardslee got a helping hand on the 1st March from two lads on the Princes' trust. Kynan and Kameron are working with the team helping to get the gardens up and running for the beginning of the last season.
Leonardslee Gardens have a new owner!

Leonardslee gardens have been sold via Savills in London, and so will be open until the end of June. From 1st July it will be closed for the foreseeable future. The new owner will also take on the "Beyond the Dolls House" exhibiton, the Wallabies and Deer, which will remain on the estate.

Fallen Tree in road

On the 24th Febuary at around 1pm a large oak tree fell down across the road outside the entrance to the gardens. It is one of those unforeseeable events where although the tree looked resonable the dampness due to the excessive amount of ongoing rain had softened the earth around the tree and led to its collapse
